I am Said Inal, an experienced Mathematics teacher, tutor, OCR examiner and teacher trainer.

My approach to Maths Mentoring is based on a simple principle:

lasting success comes from understanding.

Rather than teaching students to memorise isolated techniques, I help them develop secure mathematical foundations, understand why methods work and learn how to apply that knowledge confidently to unfamiliar problems.

Exams are important — but the habits of thinking developed through mathematics can last far beyond them.
